Christine Maddela
Managing Partner | Owner
Christine Maddela is a lifelong storyteller. She’s a veteran broadcast journalist and media coach who now puts her decades of experience to work for her clients.
Christine was named one of 24 women around the country to receive the 2023 Entrepreneurial Women of Impact Award by the Women Presidents Organization. She is also the recipient of the 2024 Nevada Spirit Award and 2023 WRMSDC Engagement Award for her involvement with and service to fellow diverse-owned businesses throughout her region. Storyville Road was named 2023 WRMSDC Supplier of the Year: Class 1 and 2022 “Rising Star MBE Award”. Maddela was a featured speaker at NMSDC’s 2022 national conference where she presented “The Science of Storytelling: Building Your Brand.” She was named one of VEGAS INC’s “40 Under 40” and recognized by the National Association of Women Business Owners Southern Nevada as a “Rising Star” in entrepreneurship and winner of the Woman of Distinction Grant. She has received numerous Regional Emmy® Awards, Edward R. Murrow® Awards, and National Press Photographers Association Awards for her work. The National Bar Association also named her one of 19 finalists in the country for the 2017 Silver Gavel Awards for Media and the Arts.
Christine has served as a news anchor, reporter, and national correspondent all over the country including in Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Nashville, Washington D.C. and El Paso, TX. She’s a proud graduate of The University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism.
Christine is active in the Las Vegas community and serves on the board of Teach For America. She serves on the Nevada Corporate Giving Council, Southern Nevada’s Industry Sector Partner for Creative Industries, NATAS National Emmy Awards Committee, Advisory Board for the annual Philanthropy Leaders Summit, Raiders Den entrepreneurial summer camp advisor, Community Advisory Board for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, and video production advisor for Doral Academy’s Career and Technical Education program.
Ray Arzate
Managing Partner | Owner
A storyteller at heart, Ray Arzate serves as the managing partner/owner of Storyville RD. With over 20 years of experience spanning the nation, Ray's journey began as a studio camera operator in El Paso, TX, evolving into a seasoned Photojournalist. His career took him to Nashville before he became a Multi-Media Journalist for CBS 46 in Atlanta. Ray's path led him to the vibrant Las Vegas Market, where he held the role of chief photographer at KSNV and KVVU. Prior to founding Storyville RD, he also served as promotions manager at KVVU. Ray's accolades include: 31 Emmy Awards, 12 AP Broadcasters Awards, 3 Edward R. Murrow Awards, 3 Promax Awards, and 4 NPPA Best of Photojournalism Contest Awards, along with being a Silver Gavel Award Finalist. His commitment extends beyond his craft, actively contributing to the industry as a member of the Executive Board of Governors and the education committee for the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences – Pacific Southwest Chapter. He also chairs the documentary division of the Best of Photojournalism competition for the Nation Press Photographers Association and serves on the DEI committee for the American Marketing Association of Las Vegas.
Sebastian Palomino
Visual Storyteller
Sebastian embarked on his journey down Storyville Road as an intern and has since transitioned to a full-time role within the team. One year after joining full-time, Sebastian won his first Emmy Award. With a background in electrical engineering, his innate passion for video production has always burned brightly. A self-proclaimed jack of all trades in the tech world, Sebastian thrives on learning. Equipped with a versatile skill set, Sebastian is a skilled storyteller, adeptly shooting and editing Storyville RD productions, while also lending his expertise as a technician. Recently completing the NPPA News Video Workshop, Sebastian underwent an unparalleled, immersive learning experience that empowers him to capture the most compelling stories through his camera's lens.
Allison Perry
Editing Supervisor
Allison is a dynamic Emmy-award-winning video editing expert hailing from a small town in Georgia. With over a decade of experience in the media industry, she combines her creative passion with a knack for storytelling that captivates audiences. Outside of work, Allison is a devoted wife and mother who loves getting lost in books and cherishes quality time with her family. Fun fact: she's an adventurous spirit who has explored 22 national parks across the country, always seeking new stories to tell and places to discover!
Carissa Simao
Administrative and Project Management Coordinator
Carissa brings a unique blend of self-taught expertise and formal education to our team. She is a recent graduate (with honors) from CSN with an Associate of Applied Science, Graphic Communications. Her talent shone bright in 2023 when she clinched an Addy Award for her outstanding design work. Beyond her professional pursuits, Carissa delves into the realm of creative writing, crafting a fantasy romance series in her leisure time. With an innate attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, Carissa steps into her new role as Administrative and Project Management Coordinator, poised to elevate our team's efficiency and success.
